While people with HIV today may experience life expectancies approaching the general population, they increasingly endure comorbidities that impact long term health outcomes as well as their quality of life. In this session, an expert panel will discuss the impact of HIV and its treatment on the patient's overall health and well-being. This includes a discussion on the current and future management of comorbidities and long-term consequences of HIV, the evolution of HIV treatment options, long-acting therapies with different modes of administration, and strategies to support ending the epidemic.
