ImPrEP is a PrEP implementation project in Latin America through a collaboration between Evandro Chagas National Institute of Infectious Diseases/Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), Brazil; Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Peru; Clinica Condesa and the National Institute of Public Health, in Mexico; supported by the MOH of Brazil, Mexico and Peru, and funded by UNITAID. ImPrEP conducted a multi-site prospective, open-label demonstration study to assess uptake, acceptability, and feasibility of same-day, daily TDF/FTC oral PrEP among MSM and TGW. A total of 9,509 participants were enrolled. Studies generated robust data on awareness and willingness to use PrEP, accessibility, community engagement, effective use, and PrEP delivery to MSM and TWG in these three countries. The symposium will present project outcomes, results and experiences from multi-studies conducted and approaches developed to scale-up PrEP programming, reach the most vulnerable groups, and results from surveys and a discreet choice experiment on preferences and acceptability of long-acting injectable PrEP that generated a new CAB-LA implementation project in Brazil.
