The Unitaid funded global SUCCESS Project – Scale Up Cervical Cancer Elimination with Secondary Prevention Strategies – will share lessons learned to date on integrating cervical cancer screening through HPV DNA testing for the cervical cancer causing human papilloma virus (HPV) into HIV care services and with civil society partners that focus on WLHIV. SUCCESS will include experiences from the four project countries – Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Guatemala, and the Philippines – including the status of promoting self collection as a way to more effectively reach women where they are and increase access, as well as increase health facilities' abilities to screen more women for cervical cancer.
