The latest findings from a global systematic evidence review and progress towards consensus to guide scaled up practical action will be presented. The comments will be framed within the context of progress, focussing on interventions and practical implications of research. The JIAS Supplement on ‘Getting to the Heart of Stigma across the HIV continuum of care’ that features a publication related to the keynote address will also be launched. The presentation will be followed by expert respondents, and the discussion will focus on key questions: -> Do we really know what works? -> Are measuring and evaluating the right things in our interventions? -> Is there one aspect of an intervention that really is the critical ingredient for success in reducing stigma – and how could it be scaled up? The session opens with a poll to encourage audience interaction and will close with a call to action to read the JIAS Supplement and connect with the authors present at the conference and virtually.
