In recent years, China has achieved remarkable results in the prevention and control of AIDS, and transmission through blood transfusion has been basically blocked. Injecting drug use and mother-to-child transmission have been effectively controlled, the epidemic has continued to be controlled at a low prevalence level, and the treatment coverage and success rate of infected persons have exceeded 90%. At the same time, the Chinese government attaches great importance to supporting social organizations to participate in AIDS prevention and treatment, and has established China AIDS Fund for Non-Governmental Organizations. Make full use of the central financial and social forces, give full play to the advantages of social organizations, effectively expand the coverage of AIDS testing, promote early detection and early treatment of infected persons, and play an important role in the work of AIDS prevention. This year, the "Political Declaration on HIV and AIDS: Ending Inequality and Entering the Track of Eliminating AIDS by 2030" adopted at a high-level conference organized by UNAIDS, put forward several new 95% targets. At the same time, it also put forward specific hopes and requirements for the work of social organizations in the treatment of infected persons, testing and consultation, prevention of key populations, and publicity and education. The satellite symposia will invite well-known international and domestic experts from such as National Health Commission, China CDC, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and UNAIDS to introduce China's progress in AIDS and the elimination of mother-to-child transmission, and share the effectiveness of Chinese social organizations' participation in AIDS prevention and treatment, as well as the problems and challenges they face.
