The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted challenges for our healthcare systems and affected the health of our communities in many ways. This session will focus on the impact of the pandemic on access to STBBI-related health services, including for HIV, for People Who Use Drugs (PWUD), Indigenous and African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) communities, in Canada. Public health, healthcare professionals and community leaders will engage in a discussion on the current issues that exist around inequities in STBBI and HIV health outcomes for PWUD, Indigenous and ACB communities, as well as to identify potential solutions to the existing gaps. Presentations available here.
