Community workshop

SextEd is a free and confidential texting helpline that answers questions about sex, dating and health within 24 hours. ACCM established the programme in 2013 as a new and innovative way to reach out to young people and provide non-judgemental, accurate and up-to-date information in a format preferred by young people. In this workshop, we will share how we set up our texting helpline in a simple and low-cost way so that other organizations may establish their own programmes based on their community needs. We will also share SextEd's approach to answering sexual health questions with youth audiences.
